Ideal for flights to and from local airport with shorter take-off and landing strips, aeroplanes can fly at a speed of 300 knots and have a non-stop distance of about 1500 mile. The small jet (also called lightweight jet) is the ideal solution for small to medium pop. Offering 400 knot mean speed and non-stop distances of about 1700 mph, lightweight jet planes can fly further and quicker than small planes while still offering high efficiencies.

Midsize airliners (also called midsize jets) are the most common class of personal airliners and offer a cost-effective alternative for up to four hour flight, for up to eight people. Long-haul airplanes combine optimum convenience, power and efficiency for flying over middle to long distances. With a speed of over 450 kn and a non-stop distance of over 5000 mph, these planes fly further, quicker and more comfortably than any other personal jet.

The regional jets are often the most economic personal jets in terms of costs per seated passenger, and some of them come as close as possible to the airlines' fares. Their reach and sizes can strongly differ and offer space for 15 to 150 persons. Big planes can be rented for personal use.
