Even the hostess is very impolite and curious about clients and staff. It was fantastic, but I had to abandon it when I lost my fiancé all of a sudden... the firm's proprietor will do everything he can to make you work less and you work more.

It' s not the perfect working place for everyone. Very harsh working place, but the payment was fine. A lot of phone call in and a lot of inputting. Overall a good place to work if you are used to a lot of harassment. I didn't like working there and that's the important thing.

Learnt that you never take a someone who can't go or speak right when they're intoxicated. For me the fun was only when I could speak to other riders than reading a notebook, waiting for the next call or leaving. Was no payroll tax, the cars fell apart and it is not possible to earn a livelihood, and other motorists were irreverent to the calling.

Checker Cab Co. was a good place to work and I liked the fact that I didn't have any problem with the personnel as they would return in good repute if I moved up. Clients make my business valuable to come in. A 12-hour drive, what makes it so funny and worthwhile are the clients themselves.

I' ve been working at Checker Cab for 10 years and I like working there. I' ve learnt a great deal about places and places in Anchorage and how to become aispatcher. Working with clients on the telephone and riders via patch-funk.
