Jets plan 2017 is here and... well... it's not exactly straight. They will house the chieftains, chargers, falcons, panthers and jaguars and journey to the Broncos, Raiders, Saints, Bucs and Browns to game. Doing so in additon to their yearly indoor matches against the Patriots, Dolphins and Bills. There were seven of these groups (patriots and dolphins twice) who won the last year's playoffs.

Bucs and Broncos barely made it. Panthers built the Super Bowl in 2015. Hawks and patriots were playing against each other in the Super Bowl 51. Here is a look at when these matches are.

New York Jets will have a completely different feeling in 2017, and most supporters probably won't complain about this fact after last year's 5-11 debacle. Teams are strewn with questions all over the list, no larger than a Quarterback. Mike Maccagnan, General Coach, and Todd Bowles, Chief Trainer, will undoubtedly come into the year on the red.

Since the patriots of New England are getting better, the Miami dolphins are making a play-off year and the Buffalo Bills remain a respectable crew, it's difficult to think of the Jets 2017 as anything but a basement warrior. Obviously, not everything's wasted in New York. Joining the squad was Morris Claiborne, who was very good for the Dallas Cowboys in 2016.

Some newcomer the team's gonna design? It' difficult to forecast good things for the jets when it's difficult to even forecast who will be starting the quarterback in 2017. In 2016, however, it was clear that the jets were not heading in a favorable direction. What was the best way to get there? However, in the near future the jets are likely to face another difficult year.

Below we take a look at the timetable they will face this year and analyse the team's largest match-ups. With seven matches against last season's play-offs in 2017, the jets are not exactly facing an uncomplicated task. In addition, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have almost reached post-season last year, and the Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton are likely to recover after a tough 2016 year.

Compelling NFC South means a home match against runners-up Atlanta Falcons. While the jets are supposed to take at least one or two wins against their AFC eastern counterparts, a couple of matches from the divisions are probably the best opportunity for the squad to get a few wins.

Competitions against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and Cleveland Browns should all be winable as each squad is apparently in the midst of building a new one. Like always the jets and their supporters will want to do well in the divisions. In 2016, two of their five victories came against the Bills - a score that the 2017 side will hopefully repeat.

Bills are going into next year with their own proportion of questions and will be in the first year of the new chief coaches Sean McDermott, so it's not mad to think that the jets could take at least one match in this dual. Having fought the patriots and dolphins 4-0 last year, the jets are likely to fight the play-offs again next year.

There was no better side to the improvement of this off-season than the patriots who added Stephon Gilmore, Brandin Cooks and Dwayne Allen, re-signed Dont'a Hightower and put a sound Rob Gronkowski back in the pleat. Meanwhile the dolphins didn't make any big plays, but were still a bad match for the jets.

Whilst the Saguars have young talents on the list - and these outside the current seasons with the signature of Calais Campbell, Barry Church and Earl Watfor - they are in a transitional phase under the new chief trainer Doug Marrone. 2017 could be a tough year for the bolts for a side that only went 5-11 last year, losing a gun like Danny Woodhead, and the jets could benefit.

After all, a street match against the Browns is a match that the jets are expected to beat. Brown may be the only NFL squad that has more hole on their list than the jets that go into next year' s series.
