Corporate Jet Companies
jet companiesIn addition to the aeroplanes it manufactures for defence and cargo applications, it only manufactures large aeroplanes, all of which can be transformed into corporate or passenger planes - up to the double-decker A380, which can carry up to 555 people. The Airbus Group has two major production facilities, one in Toulouse, France, and one in Hamburg, Germany.
Toulouse is the site where all Airbus planes are produced, but some (mostly the A321) are sent to Hamburg for completion. The Airbus is now starting to construct large A400M helicopter transport systems, but this will be a very small part of the overall Airbus construction. Airbus' most beloved corporate jet models are the Corporate ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320 and ACJ321.
Normally, these models offer space for 15 to 50 seats, in comparison to those of carriers that can accommodate more than 200 people. As with Boeing business jetliners, Airbus corporate jetliners are often used by government leaders and corporate customers, and with over 300 carriers operating Airbus planes, it is simple to find one.
The next Airbus family, the next Airbus-generation A320 family, was formally introduced on 1 December 2010. Airbus, the so-called "neo" Airbus familiy, had been working on extending the familiy since the beginning of 2006. In addition to newer, more green and more efficient power plants (the so-called Nueo represents the New Engine-Option ), the Nueo range also comprises new bent singlets, which Airbus has called "Sharklets".
Despite the fact that between 2012-2013 Hawker Beechcraft's history of difficulties was on the daily schedule, the airline has been manufacturing popular airplanes since its founding by Walter H. and Olive Ann Beech in 1932. Under the name Beech Corporation, the airline first presented Model 17 - also known as Beechcraft Staggerwing - which captures the imagination of corporate travelers and aerial climbers alike.
Beech became a wholly owned affiliate of Raytheon in 1980, before taking over British aerospace corporate jet and its beloved line of mid-size Hawker aircraft in 1993. In the following year Beech Aircraft merged with the Raytheon Corporate Jet to become Raytheon Aircraft. For over a decade, Hawker's operations boomed before Onex and GS Capital Partners acquired Raytheon Aircraft in March 2007 and changed its name to Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.
Since Hawker was struggling to repay interest on the debts used to finance the acquisition, the firm revealed that it had completed the Chapter 11 protections in May 2012. In February 2013, following the failure of a high-profile acquisition of Beijing-based Superior Aviation, the Beechcraft Corporation went bankrupt as a renamed Beechcraft Corporation.
Beechcraft has shipped its last ever Hawker Jet in the first three months of 2013, but continues to serve the industry with a global customer base that includes a global customer care organization with a global presence of more than 90 authorized centers around the globe and a global presence that provides parts and on-going technical assistance to over 18,000 Hawker customers.
Beechcraft Corporation was taken over by Textron at the end of 2013 and combines Beechcraft and Cessna in a new Textron Aviation unit. Beechcraft, led by Textron, re-entered the Hawker 400 XPR in 2014, a rebuilt Hawker 400 with a price of $2.9 million.
Beechcraft will soon be launching a completely new type of businesjet on the market, it is still to be seen. Though Boeing is best known for its legendary aircraft, the Boeing Corporation started the Boeing Jet Boeing range in the late 1990s by taking over the 737's main cabin and converting it into the BBJ through a range of custom conversions and luxuries.
Recently, BBJ' s have integrated intercontinental Boeing 777, Boeing 787 and Boeing 747-8 configuration and can accommodate up to 50 typical occupants with enough room for a main room, bath and lounge. Boeing Company itself was established in Seattle in 1916 by William Boeing.
The Boeing Group expanded for many years before it merged with McDonnell Douglas in 1997 and moved its corporate head office to Chicago in 2001. The three versions of BBJ continue to be a favourite with jet enthusiasts and commercial jet users, and a combined 164 planes were sold to clients between 1996 and 2014.
Its most recent evolution took place in August 2011, when Boeing's Managing Director authorised the 737MAX widebody jet, almost a year after Airbus introduced the A320neo widebody jet, with which the 737 is competing. The BBJ version of the plane, conceived as a replacement for the existing in-production 737 range, was eventually released in April 2014 with an order from an unknown client for a unique BBJ MAX 8.
Part of Bombardier Inc - established in 1937 by Quebec-born Joseph-Armand Bombardier, who also invented the Schneemobil - Bombardier Aerospace is the third biggest aerospace group in the United States. Canadair' s commitment to aerospace began in 1986 with the takeover of Canadair. Bombardier returned Canadair to profit and did the same with Belfast-based Short Brothers and then the Learjet Factory in Wichita, Kansas.
Bombarddier manufactures a broad variety of jet aircraft for various applications. While the Learjet line consists of lightweight aircraft that can transport about eight or nine aircraft over shorter routes, the much-loved Global 6000 - formerly known as Global Express XRS - can transport almost twice as many people and is able to travel much longer.
Currently, the Group is working on a successor to the hugely acclaimed 5000/6000 model, with the 7000/8000 model due to go into operation in 2017/ 2018. Cessna' s smaller piston-powered airplanes, which have been building airplanes since 1927, have assisted the firm in developing its name, but the hugely beloved Citation line of commercial jet airplanes has contributed to defining its person.
From the Citation Mustang, which can accommodate four people in a cozy but convenient environment, to the mid-size Citation Ten, which can accommodate eight people and is known for its breathtaking speeds, the range includes the Citation Mustang, which can accommodate four people in a cosy but pleasant environment. It was Clyde Cessna, the first man to ever built and flown an airplane from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains.
Hawker Beechcraft and Learjet, the corporation was established in Wichita, Kansas, and has retained its urban head office. Textron is a Textron affiliate, and Kansas-born Scott Earnest has been Cessna' s Chief Executive Officer since June 2011, after replacing Jack Pelton, who recently left the Group.
At present, the Group is working on two new series. But the second is probably the most interesting, and marked Cessna move into large cabins long-range commercial jet. Dassault Aviation, located in Paris, made a name for itself in the production of fighters for the army. 1954 the enterprise made a drawing of a slim corporate aircraft with two jet thrusters under the wings.
Well-known as The Méditerranée, the notion never went beyond the document on which it was originally printed after it was determined that the plane would be too expensive for large-scale production. The plane, not unlike the Mediterranean plane, was the company's first commercial jet and the first to prepare the waves for the legendary Falcon family.
However, after the US carrier had abandoned the concept of selling an airplane with a Franco name, it was finally converted to the Falcon 20 the following year. Dassault has in recent years manufactured a number of mid-size corporate jet airliners as well as the bigger Falcon 7X with three power plants and a cruising distance of almost 6,000 mph.
Dassault's latest model, the Falcon F5X and the Falcon 8X, were launched in 2013 and 2014, respectively, but while the Falcon 8X is a one-meter distance from the F7X with an extra 500 nm area, the F5X is a clear sheets designed to become the foundation for later, bigger scale model designs.
Embraer was established in Brazil in 1969 and went into the aviation industry to manufacture dependable turbo-props. With the production of a series of defence jets in the 1970', a local jet in 1985 and a Piper jet in 1974, Embraer was finally resold to prevent insolvency in 1994. Throughout the new century, the firm turned its head when it heralded the launch of its legacy programme and the construction of its first ever commercial jet.
As the Legacy continues to consolidate its position as an extremely beloved mid-size jet, Embraer went on a 2006 U.S. air show trip to present models of its new Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 commercial jets. After Embraer began to build commercial airliner executives at the beginning of the 2000s, the company is now looking for a single scale version in each of the sizes and weights.
It was Embraer's decision to give the plane the name Legacy rather than Phenom to give the new series the feeling of a bigger plane series. While Gulfstream has designed a number of well-liked mid-size corporate jetliners, such as the G200 and G450, the Georgia-based firm has earned its fame almost exclusively through the construction of large corporate jetliners.
Gulfstream Aerospace, which has always specialized solely in corporate jets, emerged from Grumman Aviation Engineering Co., a producer of aircrafts for the armed forces. Grumman's corporate identity dates back to the early 1950', when it manufactured a turbo prop called Gulfstream I. The move from the state of New York to the small town of Savannah, Georgia, did not take place until the 1970's, when Grumman renamed himself Gulfstream American after its merger with American Aviation Corp.
Acquired by General Dynamics in the mid-90s, Gulfstream produced the first ultra-long cruising jet, the GV. With large, wide-ranging machines such as the A500, G550 and G650, the firm is now on the right track. Gulfstream's largest success was partially achieved by 2014 with the launch of two new Gulfstream cars at the same time.
