Does Alaska Airlines have Wifi

Today there are many airplanes with broadband connection for a small charge. While some airlines provide Wi-Fi throughout their fleets, others only operate on certain aircraft and aircraft models. To find out if you can keep in touch during your trip, all you need to know is where to look.

Historically, we have posted a website named HasWifi that no longer informs you if your airline has Wi-Fi. What airlines have Wi-Fi and how much does it charge? Several airlines have Wi-Fi in their whole fleets or are very similar. Here is a listing of those we know and how often you can count on finding Wi-Fi on your aircraft (although most of these numbers relate to home flights):

The American Airlines: Wi-Fi on board is available for all 767-200 and 737 aircraft as well as for most MD80 and 757 aircraft.

Restricted at some levels, full at others. For the time being, it is not clear what the aircraft will be available, but some reports say that Airbus 320 aircraft could provide it. To get Wi-Fi information from the airlines during your trip, simply click on the associated name in the above listing. It is also noteworthy that if you are flying between Los Angeles and San Francisco (LAX SFO), New York and Los Angeles (JFK LAX) or Atlanta and Orlando (ATL MCO), you are almost certain to have Wi-Fi on your flights.

While you can find out if your flights have Wi-Fi, we are happy to use the Air Traffic Finder to find the information. Although they are not 100% exact, they are as near as you get without formal notice from the carrier.
