Superflight over Kent - Review of AV8 helicopter tours, Rochester, England

From Rochester we went to AV8 for a scenic drive through Kent, from Rochester via Maidstone and Ashford to the coastline and back via Canterbury, overlooking Swale and back to Rochester. On the way the driver showed many interesting points, and before we knew it, we made our way back.

The 45 minutes trip was taken and we were so happy about it because I think the short one would be over too quickly. Recommended for those who have never used a helicopter before or want to see the attractions of Kent from above! and Rochester and Leeds.

Personnel and pilots were very competent and instructive. On my 30th anniversary I got a 30 minutes flight hour coupon and what a great present. This is a good introduction to the mechanical of a helicopter before it goes into the air.... and a very patience teaching from Dan. What a great 24-hour and I just hoped to get a shot at flyin' again.

It was a present for a lifetime and this wonderful event on the most beautifully lit day of the year was combined with a great souvenir. Arriving at Avi8 as directed, our driver waited and waited for us, a really friendly fellow who led us through the security briefing and, while in the sky, pointed out all the notes you could see.

Never been in a helicopter before, there was so much to discover and see. This is an experience not to be missed for anyone like me who just likes to fly.
