How do I use my Alaska Airlines Miles

What do I do with my Alaska Airlines Miles?

Of course, the easiest way to earn Alaska Airlines miles is to fly with Alaska Airlines; make sure you are a member of the Mileage Plan frequent flyer program and enter your frequent flyer number when making your booking. If you use Alaska miles, you can redeem them for travel with any of your partners - but only with one partner at a time.

To use the Mileage Plan air miles

No matter if you are looking for a fast trip to the weekends or a long holiday for the whole NPH group, Mileage Plan Hotels, Powered by Rocketmiles, lets you earn miles to stay in hotels. Find Hotels "This displays a hyperlink to an outside Web site that may not be compliant with eAccessibility guidelines". Card holders earn rebate increments when reserving miles (or a combined amount of money and miles) for hotels.

The new cardholder is entitled to this service within 2 week after authorisation.

Alaska Airlines Use Miles on Finnair

Mileage Plan members can redeem their miles on Finnair services. In May 2017, Finnair and Alaska Airlines confirmed their partnerships, with premium services scheduled to begin in autumn 2017. Unfortunately, due to the Alaska Airlines and Virgin America fusion, withdrawals of affiliate fares have been brought onto the route and postponed!

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members still cannot use their miles for Singapore Airlines. Now this is gradually shifting and members of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan can use miles across the Finnair ecosystem! The Finnair is not the least expensive use of Alaska Airline Miles, but its bonus overview is very sturdy.

Premium flight options are available wherever Finnair operates in Economy and Business classes. Reward trips in Bus Division are costly and become more costly the further you go. Finnair offers Finnair services at the same fare regardless of whether you're flying from Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico or the lower 48 countries!

Although New York to Helsinki is pricey in terms of doing your businessclass, Hawaii to Helsinki is a theft! Interestingly, flying to India is more costly than flying to Japan or Thailand! Notice - The Alaska Airlines Awards table is inaccurate. A few departures cost more than what the reward table shows. The Alaska Airlines Reward Programme is one of a kind as it does not allow affiliates to be combined on the same route in the same way, and Reward travel is usually restricted to certain areas of affiliates.

Premium airfares are only Alaska Airlines plus one affiliate per flight destination. At Finnair we offer some great new routing opportunities for Alaska Airlines members, but not at the lowest prices in our Classic City. Finnair is available for premium journeys in the Economies when travelling between Europe and another area. Hopefully with this new awards charter you could go to Asia with a stop in Finland for only 50,000 miles!

You can redeem your miles for a Finnair trip, but you should consider other airlines and itineraries first. Maybe I could come to London with AA in First Class for 70,000 miles compared to the same costs in the store on Finnair. Yeah, I know, I'd rather be flying Finnair too!

Or, if you're traveling to Asia, it's better to use 30,000 miles on the Cathay Pacific between the US and Asia in Business or 70,000 miles on First unless you really want to stop in Helsinki. Now Finnair is one of two Alaska Airlines partner airlines that offer flights between Europe and Asia.

However, Cathay Pacific offers cheaper fares once again! Finally, a note: You can book your flight with us now! The Cathay Pacific flight is still not available on-line.
