Reservation via the Jet Airways website with international ticket - Air Travel Forum

I' m trying to make a booking for a fly back to Bangkok-London on the Jet Airways website, I' m trying to use my UK Government travel document after I clicked "Send" and mistake occurred with my travel document that the deal could not be handled. And then I was reading some poor on-line experience from folks trying to make bookings on their website with overseas debit and credit cards.

You had the same mistake but were still billed and never fully reimbursed! and the t+cs of Jet Airways website booking policies even state that you are not responsible for such mistakes! Our journey to India was arranged in February last September and we used a British bank account and it was well used.

I' m not sure why you made the mistake, maybe you can get in touch with Jet Airways and see what they're saying. Ask your local bank or your local bank. It is possible that the deal was not executed because it was identified as a potentially deceptive one. It should be possible to make a booking with a non-resident bank account.

Here I bought a Mastercard ticket with a "foreign" Mastercard (from the Netherlands). However, someone from Thailand using a British Visa could be suspect. Thanks for the answers, fortunately my map did not work too well, I found the same fare flying with Etihad, so a much better offer. If I try to make a booking for India inland from the UK (tonight) I get the same mistake.

Quite worrying - the banks only give me special information about transactions during business hour, so I can only call in the mornings!
