Currently, Jet Airways is operating a total of 117 fleets including 10 Boeing 777-300 ERs, 8 Airbus A330-200s, 4 Airbus A330-300s, 77 Boeing 737-700/800/900/900/900/900ERs of the next generation and 15 ATR 72-500 and 3 ATR72-600. It has one of the youngest fleets in the whole wide range with an avarage of 5.80 years.

There are 71 routes across the entire length and width of India and beyond, among them Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Bangkok, Brussels, Colombo, Dammam, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kathmandu, Kuwait, London (Heathrow), Muscat, New York (Newark), Paris, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore and Toronto. Jet Airways is headquartered at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai and is India's second busiest airliner. Established in 1992, Jet Airways was once India's premier airliner, but has since been outperformed by IndiGo. With more than 110 ATR, Airbus and Boeing aircraft in its portfolio, Jet Airways serves more than 60 routes in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East, with Delhi, Amsterdam and Berlin as its most preferred destination.

Just like cabin baggage, the free baggage allowances of a Jet Airways flight vary by airline ticketing model, airline and flight origin, but the free baggage limits for most flight types are as follows.

In the case of economic travellers, a 30 kg limit applies to hold bags, while Premiere travellers may receive 40 kg of hold bags. Free of charge for First-Class passengers is 50 kg. On a Jet Airways flight, the max. bag length is 158 cm in length, width and altitude.

It accepts various kinds of sports gear as hold luggage and credits them against the current airfare.
