JetBlue flight tickets I bought at Kayak's Kiwi.com. Are the charges for my hold luggage the same as for a direct booking with the carrier? The website through which you buy the fare is irrelevant. There are other things to consider when booking through an online travel agency (OTA) such as Orbitz, Expedia or Kiwi.com.

You can then compare the results to see if the online agent is charging more.

What are the best mileage you can accumulate on your paid flight? Booking the fare through an online agent may collect fewer mileage than buying the fare directly from the carrier. JetBlue, for example, provides at least 6 points for every $1 you spend when booking through JetBlue.com.

However, you are earning 50% less or 3 points per $1 if you make a booking through an online booking agent. It can also be simple to randomly choose a Basic Economy rate. I have for example scanned Priceline for a simple non-stop plane from Atlanta to New York (LGA). Results show departures for ~$124. Confirm that the airfare displayed in the price line lookup is the base economy by looking for the same airfare directly on the Delta website. You will see that Delta offers you more opportunities, incl. basic economics and normal coaches. By booking this sample via Priceline, the tickets are subject to these restrictions: To some people, booking the lowest rate is the best choice.
