Freighter aircraft of all manufacturers with price list, specifications, capacity and range. Beijing signed 12 billion dollar deal to sale giant cargo aircraft to Russian cargo company Boeing Boeing has contracted with a Russia-based cargo carrier specializing in the transportation of huge goods such as army and oil field gear to buy $12 billion of Boeing cargo planes. These planes will be used to supersede the obsolete Volga Dnepr Group fleets with Antonovs. Scheduled for Farnborough International Airshow 2018 in the UK, the transaction comprises an order for five Boeing 747-8 freighters valued at $2 billion and a memorandum of understanding to purchase 29 Boeing 777 freighters valued at $9.8 billion.

The Volga Dnepr Group and its UK affiliate CargoLogic Holding have also entered into a set of arrangements with Boeing for crewing arrangements and further work. This set of deals will expand our operations with the unprecedented and unsurpassed 747-8 Freighter and open up new markets with the 777 Freighter, the world's longest twin-engine freighter," said Alexey Isaykin, President of the Volga-Dnepr Group and Chairman of the CargoLogic Holding.

"Boeing will work with us to create new cargo vessel designs that will help us meet the uniquely and rapidly evolving needs of our worldwide customers." The Volga-Dnepr Group is known for its large Antonov An-124 Ruslan aircraft squadron, but the Ukraine-based Ruslan aircraft manufacturer, which dates back to the Soviet Union, has stopped manufacturing and compelled Russia's businesses to look elsewhere.

Like the Antonov, the Boeing 747-8's bow taper is lifted, so that large and unwieldy objects can be quickly and safely handled. "The 747-8 Freighter is a very unique aircraft, we firmly believe in it. Last year, the cargo aviation industry recorded a 10 per cent increase in traffic, and Boeing received more than 100 orders and obligations for manufacturing and modification this year.

"The Volga Dnepr Group and CargoLogic Holding are honoured to have once again placed their confidence in the Boeing cargo carrier fleet to lead their businesses into thewards. Kevin McAllister, Boeing Commercial Airplanes' Chairman and CEO, said: "We look forward to building on our relationships with our great partnerships and continuing to deliver new cargo for many years to come.

CargoLogicAir, founded in 2015, mainly serves flights from London's main airports, located northeast of London.
