Taxi Central Station
Main Station TaxiTaxis from Grand Central Station - New York City Forum
Do you have a taxi rank at Grand Central Station? We took the Metro North S-Bahn to Grand Central Station and thought it would be simpler to take a taxi with your baggage to the Grand Central Station. more than one, actually. Which way will you take?
Note also that in New York it is relatively rare to take a taxi at a taxi rank. By 999 x 1,0000, taxi rides begin when you call a taxi on the road at a location other than a taxi rank. Are you having trouble finding your way around Grand Central Station?
The Grand Central initially had a beautiful "indoor" taxi stall on the western side of the main hall on Vanderbilt Ave. Simply walk through the 42nd Street door and get in line for a taxi. Don't let a haphazard individual call a taxi, there are many of them around GCT looking for travellers who look puzzled.
By the way, pumpkin bismom, the reasons why the folks in this threads refer to the build, since GCT is that his name is actually Grand Central Terminal and not Grand Central Station. So we got off at the traffic light for road 42, but we didn't see the taxi rank.
So I asked one of them who stepped aside, who was not part of the discussion, if he could tell me where the taxi was. He showed me how to greet a taxi correctly and finally we found one that wasn't empty. Hopefully you will participate in the discussion by writing on an open thread or new one.
