The aggregate modell can reduce the charter fees for aircraft by up to 50%. The strategic position of the aircraft throughout the entire state and the more efficient coordination of offer and request will reduce the overall flight duration and significantly lower the cost for the customer compared to the fare of an independent charter airline, says Kanika Tekriwal, co-founder of Jet-SetGo, a New Delhi-based charter airline with Yuvraj Singh as one of its shareholders.

The rent of an aircraft with six to nine berths varies from 150,000 to 200,000 Rs per hours. "At a later date, we want to introduce vacation parcels that provide comfort to passengers and hotel accommodation for a group of persons travelling to a specific location. In the future I see many charter planes being used for recreational trips and a large charter aircraft charter business is just around the corner," said Sarma.

Whilst the emphasis is on corporate and recreational travelers, Flaps Aviation from New Delhi will launch an executive flight emergency medical care by the end of this calendar year - a premiere for India. "We want to settle mainly in the country's non-metropolitan areas, where the rescue aircraft industry is located.

Tariffs will be about 20% lower than those currently available from operators," said Amit Kumar, CEO of Flaps Aviation and a qualified flight attendant who has performed emergency medevacs. Between Guwahati and Delhi, the flight emergency service would cost about 500,000 rupees per journey.

Flight clinics are currently provided by clinics and are not always immediately available. It will introduce a program of memberships and is in discussions with insurers to cover at least part of the costs of the outpatient clinic.
