Ultimate Jet Charters
Latest Jet ChartersMathew Maguire, OneJet CEO, said that non-stop stock option offerings from the American, Delta and United carrier brands have vanished in the wake of merger activity.
Maquire with its smaller aircrafts believe that OneJet can fill a non-stop route gap that would be hard for hub-oriented large carriers to fly with aircrafts that are often too large for point-to-point services between mid-sized towns. "Maguire previously told Today in the Sky that there are a good 1,500 truck tours that have been created in this market after the consolidations...which make a great deal of difference to this one.
Now he is promoting the Ultimate Jet Charters deals as one that will help OneJet carry these efforts forward. "Maguire said, "We really saw it as a turn-key way to speed up the company' expansion, and noted Ultimate's more than 30-year track record in this area. "OneJet is selling tickets on Contour Airlines services operated on a mixture of 30-seater Embraer E135 and Embraer 145 local jet and seven-seater Hawker Beechjet planes.
OneJet will take over Ultimate Jet Charters, a company whose present portfolio consists of nine 30-seater Dornier and one 30-seater Embraer ERJ135s. And OneJet says Ultimate Jet Charters will be incorporated into its local airline carrier Contour Airlines as of June 4. The Ultimate Jet Charters also runs a regular airline named Ultimate Air Shuttle.
Headquartered in Lunken Field, Cincinnati, this airline remains autonomous and continues to serve services to Charlotte, Chicago Midway, Cleveland Burke Lakefront, Morristown, N.J. and DeKalb-Peachtree Airport near Atlanta. The Ultimate Air Shuttle will also be continued under its own trademark for some commercial and university customers. What comes next for OneJet after the deals?
It expects "additional scheduling changes and routings in May as Ultimate operation is incorporated into its network," and adds that "multiple line extensions and new seasonality goals" will be heralded later this month. In addition, the airline will be able to offer a new service to its customers in the coming months.
