That' a really costly cab trip - it goes 70 mile. A ( straight ) move would be less costly. Think about reducing the amount of baggage - I'm struggling to see how you can handle getting that amount to/from the airplane or taxi. It might not be as costly as you think and with so much baggage and a small child - the comfort of a taxi on hold, it might be rewarding to pay a little more.

I' ve looked at both the rail and taxi options. Actually, we have to get to a town near Oxford, so the cost differential would be worth it, as the taxi would take us straight to the entrance of our lodging with baggage and everything that goes with it.
