Getting a Taxi Licence

May I get a driving licence?

If you are driving a taxi, coach or the like in the context of your job, you need a driving licence. Find out how to obtain a driving licence here and find out more below. In order to obtain a licence for industrial transport of categories B/D1, you must: hold a licence for motor transport of categories B/D1 - passenger car, lorry (with a gross vehicle mass of 3,500 kg) and coach of up to 8 metres and seating for a maximum of 9 or 16 persons. not be sentenced for an offence which could raise doubts as to whether you will be abusing the right to industrial transport of persons.

be at least 24 years of age. have a licence for class A ( busses up to 8 metres and seating for at least 9 persons). have not been found guilty of a criminal offence which could give rise to doubts as to whether you will be abusing the right to transport persons commercially. have successfully completed the test for transport persons commercially.

In order to be advised of a test for professional passenger transport, you must go to Borgerservice Indre by (Citizen Service, Inner City). Fill in "Driving licence application" (form P23) and ask your teacher or go to Borgerservice Indre By. It'?s your licence. When you have forgotten your licence, please take a current identity card with you; when you do not have a current identity card, please take your initial document of identification with you, either your name or your name.

Your family doctor's attest. They must hand in the physician's report in a closed envelop. Photograph and your doctor's note postmarked by your physician. Photographs must meet the Danish licence photograph requirement. Borgerservice sends your request to the local authorities for inspection before your request for a licence can be granted.

Once the request has been accepted by the local authorities, it will be sent to you and you can order the test from Borgerservice. Taxanævnet issues the drivers licence for the industrial licence type A ("Taxis") at Frederiksberg Town Hall. To use your licence abroad, you must be at least 23 years old and have 2 years' trucking or passenger transport expertise at a distance of 50 km from your place of residence.

As a rule, you will receive your licence within 2 month of successfully completing the test. Chart of tachographs on trucks and cars over 3500 kg. In Danish, the recording equipment shall be known as the'førerkort' or'fartskriverkort' ticket for a vehicle over 350 kg. Order the ticket from the cops.
