Six new international destinations added to Jet Airways portfolio

In addition to the Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam arrivals, Jet Airways will introduce six new international destinations and new international gateway services in Singapore, London and Paris. This full-fares carrier has signed a code-share deal with Air France, KLM and Delta to grow its international operations. "We will enter into further code-sharing arrangements in the future to extend our international network," said Gaurang Shetty, full-time director of Jet Airways.

KLM's codeshare arrangement with Jet gives Jet entry to 13 destinations in North America and 30 throughout Europe. The Air France codeshare will include 26 additional destinations in Europe and 12 in North America. Codeshare air travel for Jet Airways increased from 650,000 in fiscal year 14 to 2.1 million in fiscal year 16.

Every 10th jet flights links to/from a Lufthansa carrier. Jet Airways now has a total of 19 codeshare partners. Said Jet Airways will be equipping all planes with Wi-Fi by March 2017.

Due to high levels of passenger traffic, Jet Airways intends to restart services to the USA.
