Planemasters
master plannerAnybody got any insight into PlaneMasters?
PlanetMasters LLC - Pilots' Forum for Airline Companies
Think they' re trying to get all N.C. caravan drivers to enter into a one-year practice agreement. I' ve got a few hundred PIC Caravan and the best I could bargain was 6 month. Well, I suppose that's how they get away with a trainee position in this area.
Chief Airman said I had $4,000 on the line. and he gave me the treaty to autograph. There is a provision that the airline must pay the airline for hotel, travelling and meal expenses during the course.
You put me in a cockroach motel to prepare me for the route/flight practice. If you have never flew the caravan before and choose to work for it, make sure that you first order a flying security handbook for the caravan from eBay.
You should also see if you can get procedures and check lists from a caravan pilots in another business. PlaneMasters' indoor education is good, but the floor education for the plane itself was quite poor. Can' t believe they're making money on them for this workout and not organizing it better.
I' ll be happy to take that piece out if the treaty expires. I don't think PlaneMasters has a miser-manager. Yes, PlaneMasters is asking for a one-year engagement. On the other hand, they are paying you through practice and like you to stay close to them to try and recover the money they have invested.
You haven't bound anyone I know of to this agreement yet. I was given a fare to O'Hare for Indian, they had a limousine bus that picked me up and put me up in a nearby motel a few block from the school. It should take 3 whole day to get there, but we went through it in 2 1/2 day, even with all my question and frequently peeing time.
CP seemed a little outraged that I actually came prepped and had finished the allocated computer-aided education before I even got there. Replacing my tickets, they sent me home early and the airline pilots came down to inspect me. I' d never seen the inside of a caravan before, so they thought up a weeks or two, but they reassured me that it wouldn't take long.
Having flown 64 for the army and other heavy irons, the caravan was foolish and easy. I flew a Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the Checkpilot and did the line checks on the run until Monday. I have been logged out by Chek Pilot and they have sent a contracted driver down to join me to make sure I am convenient and good to drive.
I never asked PlaneMasters to buy me anything. I' m getting a corporate debit badge for audiences, charting and everything to do with doing a deal - food, incidental things when I'm stranded somewhere... everything, and then an iPad for charting and ForeFlight. All you need is provided by the enterprise.
CTS ( On-line Computer Learning ), which you should have done before Indoc, is quite extensive in terms of 208 schemes, protocols, meteorology and all kinds of remedies that were good refreshments. To say nothing of the 208-panel posters that hang in the headquarters design room and the 2015 C-208 that stands in the hanger managing the PlaneMasters, where you can seat and enjoy flying to your heart's desire if you ask friendly questions.
I' m not particularly impressed by the shoulderboards and possible 3 or 4 days excursions at 121, and this firm will leave you alone with your work. The only problem I see is that you didn't decide earlier with the required annual subscription.
