Some TAP® New York history.............................................. The TAP® New York began in 1998 as the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival. Initially it was held at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park in the Hudson Valley. Hunter Mountain, still called the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival, was relocated in 2000.

TAP® New York has evolved over the years into the biggest New York State Crafts Brewery event, with the number of participating breeders participating. We are not speaking here of Big Corporate beers coming from giant tubs in a 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility. We' re speaking of handmade beers..... not of beers that are hurriedly pressed onto the shelves during the making in order to get them onto the shelves as quickly as possible, but of beers with enough character and real flavour to be described as "handmade".

These are beers produced with great proud by those who really appreciate a high class, tasteful ale.

Entitlement & income limits

New York State Tution Assistance Program (TAP) is a program that assists New Yorkers who are entitled to receive education at accredited New York State colleges. A TAP Awards can be up to $5,165 per year, based on the year in which you begin your studies. You may be entitled to TAP if you are a New York citizen and attend an accredited New York State college.

Application via the AFSA

TAP is the simplest way to get started with the TAP program. Ensure that you have finished your flight with your ASA! Then HESC will e-mail you or post a map with a route description to fill in the TAP request on-line. This message was sent by HESC? When you start the on-line TAP session, you will be asked to enter a HESC-specific username and a unique identifier named HescPIN.

They will use your TescPIN for "signing" your TAP applications and for your HESC accounts information in the near term. Contacting HESC.
