I' d probably only go on foot if I didn't have too much baggage, less than 2 km 20min. So I went to Google and there were several buses available that would take about 20 min. to get there. If you have a large amount of baggage, your taxi choice seems quite inexpensive.

My doubts are that you can organize a personal transport or shuttles for much less money. According to Google Map, the automobile is not so much quicker, probably because of vehicular limitations that require a more complicated itinerary, unless the taxi has particular advantages.

Taxi Miami / 7 persons

Is there an option for taxis/mini-vans that transport 7 people + baggage in Miami? Coming to Miami on a Sunday evening, I spend the nights at Courtyard Miami Airport and then board a Monday morning cruising trip. I' m throwing up whether it's worth renting the rental and then park for 5 nights for $20 aday or take taxis to/from the harbour, but with 7 of us it can get costly and we'll be a little limited on our first full stop before departure to the harbour.

Can' believe how people still use cabs. About has not yet taken over the whole globe - some of us still have to call a trustworthy taxi operator and order a taxi. Sorry for the thought that was possible in Miami. They also say they provide a shuttleservice from the airports, so I would ask if you call after the cruiseshuttle.

As most of the United States, a "trusted taxi company" in Miami is not possible. It is strange that in the USA there are no normal cabs for more than 4 persons.

It' s very usual in Europe for taxi firms to have vans in which up to 9 people can be accommodated and which are available at extremely tight times. Can' believe how people still use cabs. A lot of people don't think that's okay. About has not yet taken over the whole globe - some of us still have to call a trustworthy taxi operator and order a taxi.

Sorry for the thought that was possible in Miami. However, it may not be the best way to take a taxi. Hello? Please enquire at your nearest resort as proposed by wrp96. I work for Supershuttle in Miami. Courtyard Miami Airport offers a free shuttles from MIA to the airport. Simply leave the departures floor (2nd floor) and await the shuttles. Shared the same shuttles with the Marriott and Residence Inn. If you are outside, it is helpful to call the guesthouse to tell them where you are (airline) so that they can have one of their driver look for you.

Please call the guesthouse before going on your journey to find out the opening time. The airport authority will check this, so ask one of the Landside staff in Blue for help at the arrivals area. To get to the port of Miami or Port Everglades, the hotels offers busses per passengers charge to/from the boats.

They travel with other travellers at fixed hours and they will disembark on all vessels following a turn from Pier A to Pier A, as the harbour street is one direction. And I think they also provide a return to the guesthouse if you make a reservation before your departure. It will be carried out by a third provider appointed by the hotelier and not by the hotelier itself.

There are many small businesses like Supershuttle that can take you to/from the harbour if you want an exclusively personal transport solution. Ensure that the Miami-Dade County corporation is licenced to operate in the harbor and carry passengers; not everything it can. Regarding the return from the harbour, both harbour administrations demand a permanent booking so that someone can come and collect you.

And they have superintendents who get people advertising what is unlawful at both ports and airfields. When there are none, cabs are your only choice for on-demand use. Ask your cruises operator if they will provide a bus connection to the terminal if you are going directly there and not back to the hostel.
