First-rate passengers who want to switch to private aircraft at no additional charge have the opportunity to take advantage of a new start-up. Will Ashcroft, the Jumpjet creator, described his business as a "private tour club" whose prices are similar to those of first-class tours on major carriers. Ashcroft says that in addition to offering a high level of passenger comforts, private jet aircraft also provide great benefits in terms of efficiency and saving valuable personal comforts.

A private jet flight provides an approximate three-hour saving in flight times, he said. Most Jumpjet departures are from small airfields, so customers can often be taken directly to their aircraft by air. At $2,350 per monthly rate, Upper Club members receive 10 round trip tours per year on up to three hour 15 minute air travel (from New York City, approximately to Aspen).

The Upper Club Plus includes four-hour 15-minute Upper Club Plus travel; ten tours per year are $3,995 per monthly. Elite Coast to Coast Pack offers ten tours of the land for $5,500 a month. Every day, you'll be able to enjoy the best of the best of the best. Upper Club members must be upgraded to Coast to Coast Elite for each trip from New York to California.

The Upper Club and Upper Club Plus allow one member to have seven visitors per tour, but the elite members of Coast to Coast only have three. Companies work with Jumpjet to develop their own member contracts tailored to their flight needs. To date, Jumpjet has won almost 700 clients, of which 90 per cent are individual clients.

Enterprises making up the other 10 per cent range from large companies to accountancy and legal practices, Ashcroft said. The Jumpjet took off in October and is expected to be in the skies early next year. When asked about the Jumpjet challenge, Ashcroft replied "too good to be true fact". Booking two week in advanced gives Jumpjet some free space to find out how to move his customers effectively.

Ascroft says that Jumpjet has no immediate rivals, but similar company cases shed good show on the difficulty of what it is trying to do. In September 2008, less than a year after commencing operation, DayJet offered on-demand jet trips and suspensions. Jumpjet's ability to take its members where they need to be efficient and profitable could transform the aviation world.
