Timetable is changed when UL892/893 is operated for 4 weeks and UL898/899 for 1 week. In SriLankan Airlines has submitted recent stocktaking changes to the Columbo - Hong Kong Air Lines in the 2018/19 Olympics.
On the basis of the updated information, the carrier prolonged the closing of the booking for the UL896/897 services, starting from Columbo on Wendesdays and Fridays. As of 28OCT18 only 3 of 5 weeklies ( UL892/893 ) are available. UL896/897 since 09MAY18, which was supposed to be continued from 28OCT18 on.
Changes in schedules announced by SriLankan Airlines
The COLOMBO ( News 1 ) - SriLankan Airlines has made a number of important changes to its flight schedules. Accordingly, from 28 October 2018, the National Carrier will operate the most modern A330-300 jets in Melbourne's day-to-day operation. The SriLankan Airlines says Airbus has approved a change to the order for the Airbus 350.
Colombo, 16 June (Reuters) - Airbus is ready to change the conditions for an order of four A350-900s from SriLankan Airlines to different airplanes, said the fighting state owned flag carrier on Friday. This indebted domestic airliner has already cancelled four of the eight A350s it has ordered from Airbus Group SE as it looks for a new global player to revitalise its assets.
"Suren Ratwatte, CEO of SriLankan Airlines, said to Reuters that Airbus is ready to change the contractual conditions for another fleet of planes. "Ratwatte said, "We are discussing with the stockholders how best to do this. By the end of March 2017, the airline's loss had more than more than doubled compared to the prior year, mainly due to high lease termination charges for Airbus jets.
Councilwatte did not explain which model she wanted to buy instead of the A350. The Airbus officers refused to make a statement.
